Society members, both adults and student interns, participate in programs that involve field trips to sites of interest in the local and general area. Most of the trips are local and single day.  On occasion, we travel greater distances that require us to stay overnight.

Historic Walk/Hike - Society members have recently taken walks along the historic Delaware Canal, in Pennsylvania.  The walk is normally about 5 miles long. The last walk ended at a point where the canal walk was closed due to storm damage.  The next walk will probably be south of that closure.

Historic Sites -  Members of the Society have participated in  field trips to such places as Potts Grove Manor.  The tours of these sites are both educational and interesting.  This page will tell of future trips scheduled to these historic sites

Historic Towns - In the past, Society members have visited towns such as Jim Thorpe.  These trips are usually to towns that are outside of the local area, and have historic value.

Museums - Society members have participated in field trips to many museums.  There are many  museums and special displays in the Philadelphia area.  We keep a watchful eye on event calendars for these special displays and events.

Weekly meetings are held Wednesday nights from 7:30 - 9:30 PM.

Please come and join us.
