Society members, both the adults and student interns, participate in programs that involve re-enactment of colonial and 19th century characters in costumes of the times.

Colonial Christmas - Every year the Hatboro Baptist Church invites the Society to participate in their Christmas program.  The Society decorates a room in the church in a colonial style and members don colonial dress to portray a colonial Christmas scene in a colonial home setting.

Anniversary Programs - When local organizations conduct programs that celebrate an anniversary of a colonial founding of their organization, such as the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Union Library in Hatboro, members are invited to participate in the program.  In the Union Library Program, members re-enactment of local citizens at the time of the founding.  When Penn State Abington Campus conducted a birthday program for the 300th anniversary of Benjamin Franklin, the Society re-enacted the characters of local citizens for and audience and performed colonial dance routines.

Local Organization Programs - Many local organizations run special programs that emphasize the past history of a historic site.  They  also conduct special events that are meant to educate the public on the various colonial activities, arts and skills that might have taken place on the particular site.  Members of our Society are invited to attend many of these programs and events dressed in colonial costume which may include performances.

Weekly adult meetings are held Wednesday nights from 7:30 - 9:30 PM. Please come and join us.
